I first came across this scent while traveling in the Czech Republic. It was winter and the constant exposure to cold winds outside and dry, heated air inside had my hands chapped and cracking. No amount of lotion was helping for very long.

White Jeans Perfume

It became my practice, therefore, to apply lotion in the morning, to carry some with me, and to apply lotion whenever I found samplers while out shopping. At a shopping center in Ostrava, I found a perfumery shop that had a White Jeans section. I tried some of this lotion without giving it too much thought. The lotion absorbed quickly. It was not greasy, but it did relieve the dryness my hands were experiencing. It left my hands smooth and silky. While no more lasting in the harsh winter than other lotions, White jeans perfume certainly worked well.

Of course, I took a sniff. (That's what you do in perfume shops.) It was a pleasant aroma that was sensual and lush without being overwhelming. It reminded me of an earlier trip down to the Mediterranean. The aroma combined herbs, citrus, vanilla and sandalwood. (I must admit I really like sandalwood.) I was not in a position on that trip to buy perfumes or lotions. However, two nights ago I took a trip to the local mall with a male friend of mine. He was looking for a fragrance gift for his girlfriend and wanted my help. Once more, I came across White jeans perfume. I tried a spritz of the perfume and was just awed. I felt transported to the Italian countryside.

White Jeans Perfume Review

I do not normally like floral, but the herbs keep the flowers from being too cloying. The wood base notes come through early and balance everything out well. My only regret with this is that the lotion is $38 for a 6.7 ounce bottle and the perfume runs from $30 for 1.0 ounce to $60 for a 3.4 ounce spray bottle. There was also a gift set with a 1.7 ounce bottle of perfume and a 3.4 ounce bottle of lotion for $48. Considering the price of the perfume, this is probably the best deal. I will definitely be adding White jeans perfume to my wish list. With luck, I'll have someone to buy it for me someday soon after all, perfumes are always better when they're gifts.
