Vetyver perfume is truly a wonderful perfume. It has a very fresh and light fragrance that will suit any woman who doesn't like to be weighed down by a very heavy perfume.

It can be defined in two words "energy and revelation." I must say that I have to agree. This makes it the perfect perfume for young women and more mature women who want to feel refreshed and renewed. With those lovely floral notes, who couldn't feel light as air? As far as the bottle and packaging go, I must say that was what initially drew me in and prompted me to sample this amazing perfume.  It's very classy in appearance with Vetyver perfume embossed in white lower-case letters, with the brand name trailing close behind.

The clear glass bottle is a squarish shape with soft, rounded corners, making it comfortable to grasp and spray. The neck of the bottle is a buff polished metal encircled by a glass ring, leading to the matching polished cylindrical metal cap, which tapers off at the neck of the bottle. The perfume itself is a light pink color that seems to intensify when you glance at it from certain angles through the corners of the elegant bottle. It comes in both 1.7 and 3.4 oz. bottles. I myself bought the eau du parfum, but I was tempted to buy the shimmery, solid perfume stick as well. It of course has a matching body lotion, which I haven't tried thus far, but have every intention of doing so. I spent roughly $48 on mine at the Bonton, but perhaps you can find it for fewer elsewhere, perhaps online at one of the various discount perfume outlets.

Of course, as the holiday season approaches, there are sure to be various gift packages that might make trying it well worth your while. Then you can wear this exquisitely made French perfume yourself and bask in its rich floral notes. Vetyver perfume is described as a modern oriental fragrance, with a fruity lychee top note, a flowery middle accord (magnolia and iris) shot through with ginger and pepper, and a rich musk-and-amber endnote. The top notes consisting of freesia and lychee. The middle notes are a sumptuous blend of magnolia, jasmine, ginger, and pepper. Then, the fragrance evolves into the base notes of warming amber and musk. A combination that makes for an inviting and altogether glorious scent that has tremendous staying power. One spritz lasted all day for me.
