Vs versus cologne comes packaged in a box colored a soothing shade of green. The bottle itself is square and flat, and the same shade of green - a very aesthetically pleasing look for anybody's vanity. The scent is invigorating and enticing - perfect for feeling fresh and feminine throughout the day. The company has always produced sophisticated and pleasing smells for women. The cologne is no exception.  Spray a little bit more on for a casual date in the evening. The staying power is approximately 8 hours - competition enough for other colognes. Since it is light, it washes off easily, so dealing with lingering scent the next day is not a problem.

The uplifting middle notes are a cool harmony of peppermint, jasmine, carnation, fennel and celery seed, while the base extends to fresh hints of oak moss, musk and white amber. It is considered a daytime fragrance but I still enjoy it on casual, warm, humid evenings. On my skin, the fragrance starts with a bright, citrusy/ green note and mellows out to a sweeter, more fruity/jasmine scent over time. When I layer this perfume with the bath gel and body lotion I find that it lasts throughout the day. But, others may find it doesn’t have the same lasting power. Everyone's chemistry is different.

I always receive compliments when I wear Vs versus cologne. Most have been from women. This isn't a real sexy fragrance girl. It doesn’t draw out the guys as well as others do. But it is delightful and appealing to wear nonetheless. The packaging is appealing also. It is a soft, gentle green that evokes a nurturing, almost spa-like appeal. The bottle is tall and thin, rectangular in shape. It's soft spring green colored cap is secure yet easy to remove. The cologne itself is gently tinted green as can be seen through the glass bottle. The glass is decorated with a leaf etched on the back, white lettering on the front. It is a spray pump dispenser. The Cologne comes in a variety of sizes -- 3.3 oz, 2.5 oz and 1.7 oz. The size I have (3.3 oz) costs approximately $35, a reasonable price.
