This feminine scent possesses a blend of peach, apricot, sandalwood, cedar, amber and musk. This delicate composition reaches its pinnacle in the heady seduction of vanilla and cedar wood, underlining the presence of today's woman in all her touching complexity. Although this perfume is recommended for day wears, it is a bit too strong to wear to work; however, I am not a huge fan of strong perfume in general. The peach and apricot give this fragrance its sweet base and the sandalwood, cedar, amber and musk make it powerful. It is definitely not a light floral fragrance. When trying the scent, it may be a bit too strong at first. I suggest waiting a few minutes and then smelling again. Another thing that I like about Vetyver cologne is its staying power. Hours after application, if I were to smell my wrist, I would be able to smell the perfume. It has a very sexy, warm and inviting smell. I love smelling my clothes after wearing the scent all day! I have received many compliments and have found that many people have never even heard of this scent! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a strong and sweet perfume. I think that it is more of a winter fragrance - too powerful for summer. I have been a long time fan of Calvin Klein’s Obsession, but I have now switched to it because it's so sweet that it's addictive. The price is a bit steep (about $55 I think), but it would be a great splurge or something to add to a birthday or holiday wish list (like I did!) The 3.3 oz bottle of Vetyver cologne is also cool looking and I have had no problems with the spray, lid or bottle design. I recommend going to the perfume counter to try the scent first because everyone has his or her own fragrance taste. This way you can also look at the bottle and determine if the price is worth the amount you are getting. Mostly I’ve used it in the evenings before I turn in just for my own enjoyment. It’s a nice sleepy kind of fragrance that lulls me off to a good deep sleep. My sheets and nightgown pick up the echo of it and just have a pleasant womanly sort of smell. The dad-person was in this weekend, and he liked it too. He remembers me with Opium, but I’ve changed a lot, and while I still love Opium, I do need another and new smell too for the changes over the years. We’re both a little older and wiser now, and I hate to stay in a rut on everything including my perfume choices.

Let me start by saying that this is my best friend's favorite fragrance right now - so much so that she requests it for every holiday from her husband. Because we always agreed on what fragrances were the best, I was very surprised when she told me that she loved this one! I first became acquainted with the via condoti perfume when I received it as a Christmas present two years ago. I received a 3.4 fl. oz. Eau de Parfum spray and a 2.5 oz. tube of Sensuous Body Moisturizer in a gift set. I loved the scent at first and was thrilled with it.  The cap is silver metallic plastic and just pulls off, exposing the spray pump. The spray is a natural spray and is not aerosol at all. It is also available, for women, in a 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum Spray, a 3.4 Eau de Toilette Spray, a .25 fl. oz. Eau de Parfum Mini (non-spray), a 6.7 oz. Shower Gel and a 6.7 oz. Body Lotion. I have had trouble finding the Sensuous Body Moisturizer that I received in the gift set under that particular name, but I suspect that it is just the Body Lotion with another name.
